♥ I Am. in love with this jewelry ♥
Actually, WE are in LOVE with this jewelry and the designer behind it all, Mai Yamazaki. Born and raised in Honolulu, Ms. Yamazaki moved to New York City a few years ago to pursue her dream in jewelry design. There, she attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and studied Jewelry Design. All her pieces are an edgy, modern line of jewelry designed to complement personal style, without overwhelming the wearer’s look. She named the line" i am.", a play on her name and also the intent of her work. All her pieces are nickel-free and made with green materials.
Last month we were able to meet the creative genius behind one of The Fancy Affair's top selling collections. It was almost like a blind date meeting, but blind date-gone-good! The three of us hit it off, an instant connection and beginning of a new friendship. We carried on with conversations of city life, work, love, our 30s, and jewelry! Janel and Mai even got into a deep conversation about their cats! I was probably staring off in space or sipping on my ginger ale in the corner of the bar. Whoops.
Well, it was a fun and happy evening filled with good conversations, drinky drinks, old friends, and new friends. We're excited to announce that one day in the near future there will be a I Am.+The Fancy Affair exclusive on our site. XOXO
