I Left My ♥ In California.
Hello Fancy Friends! It's Jen and it has been a while since I last blogged (thank you janel for keeping up with it! xoxo). I just got back to Brooklyn from a long visit in Southern California. Not long enough actually. Janel and I only got to see each other once, but it was good quality hangout time because we shopped, we ate, AND we picked up a new line for The Fancy Affair. We should have it in about 3-4 weeks! We'll do a sneak peak post about the new designer soon.

Species by the Thousands was one of the first collections that we discovered for The Fancy Affair. After seeing the Cathedral Ring, Shelter Ring, and Bridge Bangle, we knew right away that we needed these awesome pieces and much more of the collection for TFA.
Species by the Thousands was founded by Erica Bradbury in 2006 and is based in Brooklyn, NY. Erica uses drawings and paintings to create her jewelry collection. She utilizes materials such as vintage, reclaimed metals, organic and recycled fibers to create each piece. Her collections have been influenced by plants, animals, friends, lovers, monsters, goblins, ghosts, flowers and has much respect for the environment. Species by the Thousands believes in bringing an eco friendly approach to jewelry design.

♥ A Little Piece Of Paris ♥
Oh la la, what a delightful treat I had last weekend. The popular Parisian macaron shop Maison Ladurée arrived to NYC late last summer and I was just a little excited to finally (yes, finally!) taste a little piece of Paris. A taste of six macarons to be exact which I shared with my love - 2 Caramel with salted butter, 2 Pistachio, 1 Rose, and 1 Coffee. They were equally tré magnifique, but the caramel one was definitely my fav! You can choose a gift box that you pay extra for which you'll want to because they are are so pretty. Trust me, you'll want to save it. They could actually make a perfect little storage box for your Fancy Affair purchases. So I thoroughly did my research and it is a true fact that Ladurée flies the precious delicate sweets freshly from France to NYC. Crazy I know, but until the Lower Manhattan tea salon/bakery opens up in the Spring, the maracons are getting a one-way ticket to the Upper East Side.
